A Wedding is the happiest day of a woman’s life. And the most stressful. It can be the most regretful, exhilarating, and/or traumatic.Firth&Arjet never know which way the ceremony will go when their format begins; they don’t even know which will be the bride and which will be the bridesmaid. With the audience playing guests at the reception they discover who they are and how the marriage is going, occasionally jumping into scenes to show the past and future of a marriage and a friendship all at once. Wedded bliss or a wedded mess? With the audience’s help, the answer unfolds.

About the Group:
Firth&Arjet is the duo Jessica Arjet and Kristin Firth from Austin, TX. They have been Firth&Arjet since January, 2007. Their beginnings were winning a series of Cagematch competition shows with a signature half-scripted format. Later they started working with Asaf Ronen as their director and coach, and worked on character focused formats. They are currently presenting their new show, “Always a Bridesmaid…â€. In addition to regular shows at the major improv venues in Austin, TX they have appeared at several festivals including the Fronterafest Short Fringe Fesival, Ladies are Funny Festival, Out of Bounds Comedy Festival, New Orleans Improv Festival, and the Chicago Improv Festival.
