About the Group:

Jen Curran studied acting at the Atlantic Theater Company Acting School. She’s a member of the award-winning sketch comedy group Harvard Sailing Team with whom she performs every Friday night at The PIT. She can also be seen every Wednesday with PIT house team The Baldwins, and she’s one half of the two-person improv duo Jen+Steve. The Chicagoland area native has lived in New York for almost 12 years, since her first day at NYU Tisch. Jen is also freelance writer, the co-founder and owner of boutique bakery Fanny & Jane, and she writes a popular blog called “follow my bliss” about her journey to quit her desk job and pursue what makes her happy. She lives in Brooklyn with her fellow improviser boyfriend and their fellow improviser cats, Chawser and Kaia.

Steve Soroka has been improvising at the PIT for over three years and can currently been seen each week on the long-suffering house team, The Baldwins. He is a member of BōF (best of friends), a two person sketch team based on his ECNY-nominated web series. He is also a founding member of The PIT’s first house sketch team, FINGER, and performs two person improv in Jen+Steve. Steve teaches Level 1 improv at The PIT.
